Who we are
Salt & Soil began the way most good things do, slowly and with good food.
I’m Chandra. My career started behind a counter at a health food store in Malibu, making green juices, smoothies, and sandwiches for people who cared about what they put in their bodies. The early simplicity of fresh ingredients made with intention, has never really left me.
From there I grew into private chef work and boutique catering. Over the years I’ve cooked between the California coast, NYC, and the East End of Long Island. Three places that are dear to my heart, and the energy and fuel behind the way I cook.
Salt & Soil exists for people who want to slow down and actually taste their life, whether we connect through meal delivery, private chef services or in home cooking classes.
